The dental hygienist, Brianna, did an excellent job of cleaning, polishing and taking x-rays of my teeth. Dr. J was very professional and offered helpful comments about minor problems that I should address in the near future. I was very satisfied with my dental experience and I hope that I can continue with the R&J team in 2025 when I change to Cigna insurance. God bless!

A crown that Dr. R had put on fell off and needed to be put back in place. They got me an appointment for the day requested. Dr. R not only did the repair work without charge, but he also made an adjustment that created a better bite, again without charge.

Dr R pays great attention to detail, explains all options carefully when making a recommendation, and completes treatment with attention to good dentistry and patient comfort.

When I entered the office with an intent to schedule an appointment, I was asked to wait a short time while the assistant spoke with Dr R. When the assistant returned, I was told that Dr R would see me shortly.This visit was to schedule a time that Dr R could make an adjustment to my Night Guard since I previously got a new crown. Dr R promptly addressed the issue and altered my night guard! It is now a perfect fit and Dr R saved the day for me! What a dedicated dentist!!!

It is all I can do to go to the dentist. Since Dr. R took over it has truly been a welcome change. The updated equipment had been a godsend. The entire staff if friendly. I would recommend them very highly.

From the very start when you first walk in the door, until you walk out the door, my experience has always been the BEST, with the exception of UTHSC Dental Care. Dr. R and his entire staff are the BEST. I am 76 years old, and have been in many dental offices. They greet you like family, take great care of you AND your teeth. If you are looking for a dentist who REALLY cares, as well as his staff, and I mean ALL of them, then try R and J Dental. I do NOT believe you will ever be sorry you did .... BTW, the Dental school treats you like a queen or king, but the visits are very long, and many days of visits. Dr. R is fast, courteous, respectful, and so friendly. I am very happy with the care I received. The office is friendly and professional and on time! First time I have seen a medical appointment actually start at the time I was scheduled! The Visit: I had contact with 4 different members of staff in addition to Dr. Rahemtulla, the receptionist, one tech prepped me and took x-rays, the dental hygienist, a second tech took a panoramic x-ray, and the doctor. Each one seemed to be happy to be there and that feeling reflected on how I was treated. Lastly and most importantly, the doctor explained his recommended treatment plan and then took time to listen to my wishes and offered alternative plans. The fact that he picked up on a little comment I made and rethought treatments was remarkable. I have already recommended his practice to 2 friends and will continue to do so. I went through the SmileDirect process last year and had a decent experience. My teeth were straightened and I was given permanent retainers to wear at night. I mentioned to Dr. R that my permanent retainers didn't fit well and that I thought my teeth were moving. He let me know that he can provide retainers that "snap" in and fit extra tight. I was able to get my teeth scanned and receive my retainers within two weeks. They fit perfectly and I don't have to worry about my teeth moving. Great experience.

Dr. R thoroughly tested me for an issue I was having. He adjusted my crown bite, along with making improvements to my night guard, as I am clinching at night,etc. While testing to see what problem I’m having, he explained the entire reason this was happening. I had not been to a dentist in too long and my wife is terrified of the dentist, after our visit, I feel confident I will be back on a regular basis, "Dr. R" is an absolutely phenomenal Doctor, he made me feel confident something can actually be done with my teeth and it is not a lost cause like other dentists had told me, most importantly he gave my wife hope, and that is by far the best benefit that I could have hoped for. If you are looking for a TRUE professional, caring and compassionate...this is the Doctor you need to see, his honesty and up-front way of handling things is absolutely refreshing. The staff is amazing!! from the minute you walk in the door to the minute you leave you are treated like family, with kindness, care and true compassion, they absolutely go the extra mile to help you. DR. "R" really cares about his patients dental care and is not motivated by profits in his evaluations. He actually gives his personal cell phone for emergency! I can attest he does answer at my first attempt and I did not have to go thru a voice mail.

Super candid and comprehensive care, the dentist is great and his dental assistants are always pleasant and kind. Stephanie at the front desk is the same! Love coming here. I've never dreaded an appointment here like I have at other offices.

The Doctor is very good. I highly recommend him. He is up to date and very capable. He has a very pleasant and engaging manner. The amount of consciousness of patient protection is very high. Masking, eye cover etc. The dental hygienist is very thorough. There is no effort to recommend unnecessary work. A very valuable practice. Only what is needed is done.
